With a growing portfolio of award-winning brands, CloserStill Media has become renowned for hosting high-quality, industry-specific exhibitions, conferences, publications, and communities internationally.

 

Having already committed to working with Fusion across the other half of its healthcare portfolio, the business chose to award Fusion the contract to deliver its five remaining national healthcare events, including Best Practice London, Women’s Health Professional Care, Clinical Pharmacy Congress, Best Practice Birmingham, and Respiratory Professional Care.

 

After taking up a free trial offer from a Fusion competitor to launch Clinical Pharmacy Congress North, a brand-new event, CloserStill Media decided that Fusion should manage the event going forward. 

“We’ve always been incredibly happy with Fusion, but an internal decision to take up the offer of a free trial service from one of its competitors for one entire event was taken. As the working relationship just wasn’t there with the supplier we were trialling, delivering the event became incredibly stressful. Furthermore, the level of service Fusion offer us is something that the competitor simply couldn’t offer. We know Fusion, we know what to expect from Fusion and we know how to work with them to get things done. After the trial, we invited them to manage Clinical Pharmacy Congress North going forward.”

CloserStill Media run more than 100 market-leading B2B events and gatherings. Even the smallest healthcare events see 100 exhibitors, a conference programme across six theatres, and 15-20 seminar sessions, attracting a minimum of 1,000 people.

 

For these events to succeed, CloserStill Media needs additional support from Fusion to ensure each one runs smoothly.



The result:


Since appointing Fusion to support its healthcare events portfolio, CloserStill Media has:


  • Managed registrations for all visitor types and exhibitors.
  • Used lead scanning management to collect real-time attendee data.
  • Received on-site support from Fusion's events experts, including an Account Manager and Technical Manager.

Fusion enjoyed a packed day at the AEO Forums earlier this month. The theme for this years’ event was Collaborate to Innovate, and this message was captured throughout the day in the numerous panels, workshops and networking opportunities. The 2025 Forum was particularly special for Fusion, as we took on sponsorship of the event , as well as providing the registration services , including front-of-house staffing and self-service badging, facilitating a quick and easy entry for everyone in attendance. In keeping with the theme of the day, there were three busy streams across Marketing, Sales and Ops, all kicking off with social impact consultant from It Takes A Village Collective, Chloe Davies’, discussion on Breaking Barriers: The power of community-led innovation. She demonstrated how she’s embedded community values into every aspect of her career, sharing proven strategies on how to identify and break down misaligned goals and silos before they form.
