Fusion® announces company name change away from Circdata

Fusion® announces company name change away from Circdata to align with revised portfolio of software and hardware event management solutions. Announcement comes as Fusion renews contract to be official registration partner to the Association of Event Organisers (AEO).

Fusion®, provider of event management tools to the world’s leading exhibition and conference organisers, has announced a company name change away from its previous title of Circdata Ltd. The new name is accompanied by a revised visual identity and better aligns the organisation with its innovative Fusion Event Hub, Fusion Exhibit and Fusion Visit suite of products.

Developed with Fusion’s 25+ years of experience in the events management sector, this portfolio of software, mobile app and on-site registration technology allows organisers, exhibitors and attendees to deliver better events, more simply.

For organisers, Fusion Event Hub provides planning, management and registration tools together with innovative heatmap analytics and networking solutions. For exhibitors, Fusion Exhibit brings lead capture devices and apps that maximise event ROI and allow event staff to immediately scan, qualify and connect with customers. Attendees are also catered for by Fusion Visit, a fully featured visitor planning app with event registration, entry, scheduling, exhibitor profiles, floor plans and digital brochure collection.

“Circdata began as a means for magazine publishing clients to leverage their circulation audience towards event registration,” said Fusion product director, Rich Mullins. “As the exhibition and conference industry developed, our strategy has evolved, and the new Fusion name reflects our commitment to servicing global clients’ changing needs.”

During the last 12 months, Fusion has supported more than 100 events across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Americas with more than three million scans of attendee badges being made. At a single client event, the Fusion Visit app has registered up to 28,000 individual engagements. Data from every interaction is processed in real time to provide an industry leading dashboard of analytics tools for organisers and their exhibitors.

The first public unveiling of the new company name is at the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) forum on 26 January 2024 in London, UK. Fusion is once again appointed as the official registration partner for this prestigious event and product experts will be available throughout the day to discuss how our technologies can improve the delivery and value of other events.

Fusion enjoyed a packed day at the AEO Forums earlier this month. The theme for this years’ event was Collaborate to Innovate, and this message was captured throughout the day in the numerous panels, workshops and networking opportunities. The 2025 Forum was particularly special for Fusion, as we took on sponsorship of the event , as well as providing the registration services , including front-of-house staffing and self-service badging, facilitating a quick and easy entry for everyone in attendance. In keeping with the theme of the day, there were three busy streams across Marketing, Sales and Ops, all kicking off with social impact consultant from It Takes A Village Collective, Chloe Davies’, discussion on Breaking Barriers: The power of community-led innovation. She demonstrated how she’s embedded community values into every aspect of her career, sharing proven strategies on how to identify and break down misaligned goals and silos before they form.
